You can call me Cecil B. DeMille. But don’t expect me to answer to that.

My name is Bill.

I am a writer, a life-long learner, and a guy who’s passionate about way too many things.

To that end, I like creating challenges for myself, be they listening to everything Mozart, Beethoven, Bruckner, and Bach composed, watching every Oscar-winning movie, reading every novel Hemingway wrote, or watching every Fred and Ginger movie.

I’ve called all my website projects “…and me” along with the number of days needed to complete each project. Thus, 180 Days With Mozart and Me (because there were 180 CDs in the Philips Compact Complete Mozart Edition), or 81 Days With Oscar and Me (because there were 81 Oscar-winning movies when I did that project), or 144 Days With Bruckner and Me (because I reviewed Bruckner’s nine most-famous Symphonies from 16 different CD box sets).

You get the idea.

In this project, I decided to put Philippians 4:8 to the test to see if changing what I ingest intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually will have an effect on my overall outlook on life. And, if so, what?

To that end, I decided to watch 52 of the top inspirational/Christian movies, one after another, and blog about them.

Life is short. So I want to experience as much of the greatest achievements in music, literature, and film as I possibly can before it’s over.
